Modernist photographer Andreas Feininger created a vast body of photographs spanning nearly sixty years. From his dynamic urban views of Manhattan and Chicago to his extreme close-ups of natural forms, from the monumental to the minute, Feininger’s work shows his keen instinct for graphic forms and patterning, and his ability to highlight the sculptural qualities of objects.
